01The residence
A Mediterranean house, built with modern assemblies.
Site — 0.7 acres, corner lot
Clay barrel tile, stucco and cypress shutters. The vocabulary is traditional; the structure behind it is not.
Interior millwork is paneled in a strict grid. Every joint lines up across walls, doors and ceilings.
The garden was planted before the final inspection, so the house would open into shade.
